About Dropbox

Dropbox was founded by Drew and Arash in 2007 and received seed funding from Y Combinator. Aston joined in December of last year, followed shortly by Jon and not much later by Rajiv who both joined this spring. Together, they face the challenge of simplifying file backup, sync, and sharing for the world.

Aston Motes

Aston wonders what happened to his afro.
Turns out, the goodness of Dropbox's web interface is unaffected by his lack of hair.

Jon Ying

Jon's job is do to do his absolute best to make sure you're happy.
He'll pull late nights and go without meals just to go that extra mile to win your heart.
Oh, and in case you were wondering... Yes. He's single.

Rajiv Eranki

Rajiv's the only one of us who almost got a Master's from MIT.
He's got a penchant for great food and great code.
Not to mention a great rendition of Roxanne.

Rian Hunter

Rian's our resident Linux expert, fluent in emacs, and the newest Dropboxer.
He's so hardcore that he started the Linux client before he'd even joined the team.

Mike Haimes

Since this pic's been taken, Mike hasn't shaved once.
Legend says that he's been able to feed himself for days using only the food scraps lodged in his beard.
This gives him more time to spend on Dropbox's spiffy UI.
